What is your theory as to why Egyptians seem so preoccupied with continuity and permanence?
Egyptians treat their king like God because the king provide everything for his people which means everything back to the king have to be perfect. To Egyptians, Pyramids is a sign of continuity and permanence; in my theory Egyptians believe in after life, they believe long as their king stay in the their own Pyramids the kings will watch over them. People of Egypt are happy with their life style, they have no worry about living so they want their life to be continuity and permanence so as their king. People have a comfortable life under the control of their great king and queen so they want to keep it going the same way for ever. Like the ancient Chinese king people respect their king as the Son of God, so people do what ever the king ask them to do, so people put their life to build the Pyramids just like ancient Chinese people put the life to build the great wall.
