Should art be intentional and representational to be considered art?

Should art be intentional and representational to be considered art?

Well, I think there is a very close connection between intentional and represenational, for instance if someone was painting and by accident he/she made a mistake on the work, he might repair it by making it something representational on the final outcome. Or for example, when mother nature, erosion to be specific, creates some kind of figure/shape of something, that is representational but it is not intentional. In my humble conclusion, I think there has to be at least either one of the two.

What is your personal definition of art?

Art happens when someone takes some kind of material and fashions it into something representational.
