Romanticism

As we all know romanticism started as an intellet and artistic movement in which artist tried to show themselves through their feelings painted on a canvas. The paintings in this particular time potrayed scenes of horror, nightmares, sadness, dramatic and eroticism, this last one is very commong among all of the artworks in this time. Romanticism also happend in very close to the nglithment and this also affected all the subjects of romanticism. Many people say that this time is about turning feelings into artworks, we also see that artist became more human, they had more freedom to express what they want instead of doing work that people commisioned to them. We also can find many different styles among all the artist of this time such: Bold, large and also realism. Since horror, drama and many other subjects were common, Emotion also played a great role on romanticism. Another thing is that artist liked to paint landscapes, they thought that landscapes had some special atributions that intrigated these painters. In conclusion, in the past the medieval period took the ideals of enlightment but after the medieval peroid romanticism was based on that ideals too, even though the paintings on romanticism were very dark and bold they show what the painters true feeling were.
